When you have health insurance, the costs are covered by your health insurance.<br>Patients who can\u2019t prove they&#8217;re insured will immediately need to pay at the out-of-hours GP practice with a debit card. <br>These patients can subsequently claim back these costs if they\u2019re insured for this. The same also applies to all foreign tourists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The following rates are set by the Dutch Healthcare Authority effective from October 1, 2025 :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Triage consultation by telephone: <strong>\u20ac35<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A physical consultation at the out-of-hours GP practice or by video call: <strong>\u20ac197.68<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit at home by the GP: <strong>\u20ac296,53<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The rates as of January 1, 2026 are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Triage consultation by telephone: <strong>\u20ac 35<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A physical consultation at the out-of-hours GP practice or by video call: <strong>\u20ac 190,11<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit at home by the GP: <strong>\u20ac 285,17<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Dutch Healthcare Authority (DHa) is a national organisation which sets the rates for healthcare institutions. <br>The DHa assesses the rates the out-of-hours GP practice can charge every year. The rates may differ per out-of-hours GP practice.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Patients who live outside the EU (even if they have insurance) are obliged to pay a fee, except if they possess an EHIC. <br>Upon returning home, they can seek reimbursement from their insurance company<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You\u2019re obliged to take out health insurance yourself.
